Dispute Resolution Practice
Is dedicated to civil, corporate and commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution. The Firm also has a robust criminal defence, election petitions, constitutional and administrative and other public interest contentious representations practice. Our current litigation portfolio is in excess of 250 Federal / High Court and National Industrial Court cases, 40 Court of Appeal cases, 15 Supreme Court cases, and about 20 Arbitral / ADRs and Administrative Proceedings matters. We also provide litigation related advice in respect of all non-litigious matters and render pro–bono dispute resolution services in deserving circumstances. In addition, the firm has a dedicated company secretarial arm, Alliance Corporate Secretaries Limited (“ACSL”), which provides company secretarial services to several local and international companies ensuring that all its clients are aware of and comply with their respective reporting and record-keeping obligations under Nigerian law. In addition to this, ACSL acts as process agent to some foreign clients of the firm for service of processes in Nigeria.
