Benard is an Associate in the Firm’s Finance, Tax, Technology, Corporate, Commercial and Dispute Resolution Practices. He combines the values of technology, time and efficiency to deliver optimal legal services. He has provided commended research and support services to a wide spectrum of the firm’s practice areas, such as regulatory compliance, business advisory, corporate & commercial, finance, tax, litigation and dispute resolution, energy, research and analysis, legal structures, intellectual property, cyber security, data protection, financial technology, artificial intelligence and general technology regulations, amongst others.
As an undergraduate, Benard won several awards, such as best graduating student in Commercial Law and best graduating student in Jurisprudence, amongst others. He also represented his faculty and university in competitions in different parts of the country. A former Faculty President and University Chief Judge (amongst other positions within and outside academic institutions), he is a well-groomed youth leader.
Always seeking innovation and developments in the law, he took and completed online courses on Financial Technology and Global Diplomacy from the University of Pennsylvania and University of London, respectively. He is presently awaiting induction as a member of the Institute of Chattered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), after meeting all the criteria for membership.
He loves to teach, think, travel and read. He also volunteers for charity organisations.
